For almost 20 years, our Computer Classes have been at the heart of Northside Welcome Centre, helping hundreds of local people gain the confidence and digital skills they need for everyday life.

Whether you are completely new to computers or simply want to improve your existing skills, our friendly, supportive classes are designed around the needs of each individual. We believe everyone learns differently, so we teach at a pace that builds confidence and encourages people to enjoy learning.

Our sessions cover a wide range of practical skills, including:

• Using computers and the internet with confidence• Email and online communication• Microsoft Word and Excel• Online forms and everyday digital services• Internet safety and security• Money management using spreadsheets• Everyday digital skills for work and personal life

At Northside, learning is about much more than computers. Alongside digital skills, we encourage problem-solving, confidence, independence and a positive approach to learning. As technology continues to change, we help people embrace those changes and develop the confidence to keep learning throughout life.
